• Winner of the Cantate Chamber Singers 11th Biennial Young Composers’ Contest, 2017

• Cooper has been announced as the winner of the Cantate Chamber Singers 11th Biennial Young Composers’ Contest.   His piece, The Rest Is Silence, was premiered at their concert on January 20th, 2018.

• Announced as Composer-In-Residence for the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra’s 2016-2017 season

• Cooper has been announced as Composer-In-Residence for the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra’s (OYO) 2016-2017 season. His piece, There Will Come Soft Rain, was premiered at their concert on May 7th, 2017.  It was performed again at the Oklahoma Composers’ Orchestra’s May 26th, 2017 concert at Oklahoma City University.

• Announced as a composer for TheatreOCU’s production of The Crucible

• Cooper has been announced as the co-composer - alongside Benjamin Shelby Allen - for TheatreOCU’s production of The Crucible under the direction of Dr. Lance Marsh.  The Crucible received four performances in the Berg Theater at Oklahoma City University, from October 26th, 2016 through October 29th, 2016.

• Announced as the composer for the short film Gone Away

• Cooper has been announced as the composer for the short film Gone Away, directed by Veronica St. Clair and Melanie Abernathy.  The score for the 30-minute film was completed in May of 2016, and the film is currently in post-production.

• Announced as the composer for TheatreOCU’s production of As You Like It

• Cooper has been announced as the composer for TheatreOCU’s production of As You Like It, directed by Stephen Wrentmore.  As You Like It received six performances in the Berg Theater at Oklahoma City University, from April 7th 2016 through April 10th 2016.

• Announced as the composer for TheatreOCU’s production of The Marriage Of Bette & Boo

•Cooper has been announced as the composer for TheatreOCU’s production of The Marriage Of Bette & Boo, directed by Robert Lowe.  The Marriage Of Bette & Boo received four performances in the Black Box Theater at Oklahoma City University, from November 13th 2014 through November 16th 2014.
